Replacing a injector and the new injector says to use a new code that came with it when I enter the new code it says ( out of range) I have not been real impressed with my new ms908p scan tool so far

 vci software version says 4.83.1  vin # 1gcjk34216e120610

 I just tried to update and it still says the same thing, also my GM has a honda logo for it.For some reason I keep finding myself going back to my OTC scan tool. What am I missing with this tool  it is the MS908P. I thought I was getting the best when I bought this

 I know you are doing your best but my customer has called 3 times and been by once this morning want his truck and I am looking like I do not know what I am doing to him.If I could get some info on this asap I would appreciate it

 Thanks for the first quick response. I had to go borrow a TECH2 from another shop to get my customer off my back. Did you come up with anything?
